Two Somali Men Plead Guilty to Piracy in US Court

   Two Somali men pleaded guilty to piracy Wednesday in a U.S. court for their roles in the highjacking of a yacht that left four Americans dead.

eAhmed Sala Ali Burl told authorities in Norfolk, Virginia he tried to stop the shooting of the victims on board the Quest off the coast of Somalia in February.
The second suspect, Muhidin Salad Omar, says he acted as a negotiator and tried to gain the release of the hostages.
The two suspects join seven others who have already pleaded guilty and are awaiting sentencing later this year.

The Associated Press reports a tenth suspect is expected to plead guilty Thursday at the court in Norfolk.
The European Union's anti-piracy task force says pirates are currently holding at least 30 vessels and more than 650 hostages.
