More than 700 geologists are currently involved worldwide in the Total group to contribute to these challenges, using sophisticated data acquisition & processing methods and powerful in-house integrated workflows and softwares implemented in supercomputers.

Within the E&P Branch and more precisely, the Development Division, the Reservoir Geology Department is in charge of realizing integrated geological studies for the development of green fields and the re-development of brown fields.

As a Senior Geologist in this group, your main activities will be related to the following tasks: – Analysis and validation of geological data  – Definition / follow up of specialty studies whenever needed – Synthesis of 2G data while ensuring consistency with dynamic information – Elaboration / realization of geological models taking into consideration known analogues – Evaluation and quantification of static uncertainties – Assessment of hydrocarbons in place and associated uncertainties – Participation to the set up / initiation of dynamic models, ensuring geological coherence – Definition of development well locations, architectures and data acquisition programs – Integration of well results and update of the existing models

Your Career Evolution, in Head Quarters and in Affiliates, based upon your performances and demonstrated skills but also your personal wishes, will bring you either towards Managerial opportunities (Asset Team Leader, Geosciences Management) or Senior Technical Advisory positions.

Required skills:

•   Education: Master's degree from a world class Geology University / School / Institute, possibly completed with a specialization (Post-Graduate) degree.

•   Experience: 8+ years of experience in an Oil Company or an International Specialized Service Supplier

•   Skills: Intellectual curiosity and rigor, reliability, creative thinking, autonomy, adaptability, mobility and interpersonal skills in multi-cultural environments are compulsory to succeed in this position.

•   Language: Fluent spoken and written English is mandatory
