Controls Engineer – (Controls, WOCS and Systems) – Nigeria – Fix-Term Contract role

Controls Engineer – (Controls, WOCS, and Systems) is need by my client – a world leader in energy production who is looking for highly skilled Controls Engineer – (Controls, WOCS, and Systems) to work in Nigeria

The opportunity: The successful candidate will manage and control the hardware production, refurbishment and rental functions within business unit.

Workshop Technician (Controls):  – Knowledge of operation, installation and / or maintenance of Subsea controls systems and WOCS systems.  – Certified to work in an offshore environment

Programming experience for PLC and PC control systems and MMI interfaces such as Wonderware  – Field proven knowledge of loop, wire and function checks of a control system.  – Expertise with control system communication protocols including but not limited to TCP/IP, modbus, fieldbus, profibus etc.

Other desired Qualifications:

- Drive and build a strong EHS Culture encourage HELP card reporting  – Broad knowledge of various products such as Surface/ Subsea Drilling / Completion equipment, Capital Drilling equipment and preferably an Aftermarket background  – Show strong leadership to his direct and supporting Expat and National teams highlighting the businesses Growth Values.

Employment Type: 9 Month Rolling Fix Term Contract

Salary / Rate: £850 per day – £900 per day

Rotation: 28/28 (includes day rate)

Mobilisation: Business flights included
