Role Summary/Purpose:   
This role serves as Finance Manager for D&P Nigeria demonstrating accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives for the business within the Country. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.

Essential Responsibilities:   
• Reporting to Regional Oil and Gas Finance Manager, Nigeria.
• Key Team members include FP&A leader and Global Services Finance Leader.
• Works closely with regional Operations Teams and Global D&P Finance and platform Leadership.
Functional Leadership on Finance Issues and Teams across all D&P Platforms (Equipment & Services), Locations (Onne Lagos, Escravos) and P&L items (Orders, Revenues to OP).
• Serve as a business partner to the operating team to drive business initiatives, growth, and profitability
• Partner with technical/business leaders and staff to drive operating performance and act as champion for cost optimization, productivity, inventory accuracy & utilization, as well as inventory standard settings
• Develop estimates, operating plans, forecasts, reviews, reports (GAAP), Growth Playbook (3-year plan) and SII (1-year plan).
• Ensure compliance with GE GAP at all times.

Qualifications/Requirements:   
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• At least 5 additional years of experience in a financial position

Desired Characteristics:   
• Master's of Business Administration is preferred
• PC proficiency
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues
• Extensive knowledge of GE business operations is preferred
