Analysts Unsure of Nokia's Future
« on: Jun 01, 2011, 06:33 PM »
Nokia shares continued to fall on the Helsinki Stock Market. However, the telecom giant’s shares had nearly recovered the 8 percent they lost during the day.

Nokia shares have been plummeting since the beginning of the year, losing nearly half their value during that time.

Many analysts say that Nokia is not out of the woods, and will see continuing further declines.
Several investment banks are expecting the stock to bottom out at 4 euros a share. The most pessimistic, like Danske Bank’s daughter company Danske Markets think the stock could go as low as 2.20 euros a share.

Finnish Energy company Fortum now has a higher rated stock than Nokia, which makes it the most valuable company on the Finnish stock exchange. Telecom company TeliaSonera and Nordea have long since passed Nokia in market value, but both of their headquarters are in Sweden.
