Entry-level LG Optimus L1 II goes official with 3-inch display

LG has extended its collection of entry level smartphones with a new addition to its L-series called Optimus L1 II. The Android smartphone is targeted at budget-conscious users and developing markets.

The LG Optimus L1 II sports a 3-inch display with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. The smartphone features a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset with 1 GHz processor and 512 MB of RAM. There's a 2 megapixel fixed focus rear camera and 4 GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card slot.



The connectivity options of Optimus L1 II include Bluetooth 3.0, GPS support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and HSDPA up to 7.2 Mbps. The newest entry level smartphone from LG runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and the juice for the device is provided by a 1,540mAh battery.

Apart from the hardware specifications, the smartphone comes with a few software goodies from the LG Optimus L3 II, the most notable inclusions bing the QuickMemo app and the Cheese Shutter, which enables you to capture images with voice commands.

LG Optimus L1 II is priced at $95 and will be available in Black and White color options. The smartphone will go on sale in Vietnam, Russia and UK in the coming days.
