Job Title: Procurement and Logistics Officer

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

A Pan-African educational establishment is interested in engaging the services of experienced Procurement and Logistics Officer.

Job description:

•   Sourcing and Bulk purchase from manufacturers in various organizations and companies across Africa

•   Pricing and negotiation for cost effectiveness

•   Developing timely procurement, stock, operations and logistics report for management review.

•   Provides advice and guidance to management on procurement matters.

•   Developing relationships with local and foreign vendors and always searching for better sources of supply

•   And other responsibilities given.

Qualification/Requirements:

Applicants for this position must possess the following:

•   Minimum of B.Ed/BSc /HND in business administration or any related discipline.

•   Possession of relevant Masters Degree or professional certificate will also be an added advantage.

•   Must have at least 5 years of experience in procurement, logistics and sourcing.

•   Good research skills

•   Demonstrated knowledge in pricing, contracts negotiations, policies and procedures.

•   Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft word and excel

•   Good analytical, numerical and problem solving skills

•   Must be dynamic, proactive and a progressive thinker

•   Excellent written, oral communication and interpersonal skills
