MAIDUGURI, Nigeria (AP) — British Cabinet Minister Mark Simmonds on Tuesday condemned as "contemptible and cowardly" an attack on a mosque in northeastern Nigeria in which suspected Islamic extremists killed at least 44 worshippers and wounded another 26.
