The Rivers State Ministry of Education in collaboration with ZWH, a leading German vocational training institution, is setting up an international standard technical and vocational training center in Port Harcourt in 2013. The ministry seeks highly experienced and qualified candidates to fill the position.

The candidates required must have at least 2 years hands-on work experience in:  

•   Metal Works/Welding

•   Sanitary Works/Plumbing

•   Electrical Works and or Bricklaying/Tiling

Requirements:

•   Candidates with a minimum 3 years of secondary school education and in possession of a trade test certificate will have an advantage.

•   A number or candidates will able be selected on merit for full-time employment as co-trainers at the German-managed and RSVG-sponsored Port Harcourt Technical and Vocational Centre.

•   Prospective candidates must possess valid identity cards.

•   An International passport for travelling will be required from November 2013.

•   F reference will be given to candidates aged below 38 end resident in Port Harcourt.

•   Interested OND/HND holder/ graduate with requite experience may also apply.

•   Successful candidates must be able to communicate in English.

•   They will undergo a technical training course in vocational skill related to their discipline in Germany, sponsored by the Ministry or Education.
