The Rivers State Ministry of Education in collaboration with ZWH, a leading German vocational training institution has set up the Port Harcourt technical and vocational training center, an international standard technical and vocational training institution in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The Centre offers:

The 'skills-for-life' being offered will be in the areas of

•   Metal Works/Welding

•   Sanitary Works/Plumbing

•   Electrical Works and or Bricklaying/Tiling

Requirements:  – The ministry invites prospective students with a minimum of Credit in English, Physics and Mathematics at Senior School Certificate Examination level to form the first batch of 120 students for its 6- month training course, which will commence in February 2014.  – The entrance examination is scheduled to take place in November 2013 to select students. The date will be communicated to suitably qualified candidates in due course.
