JOB SUMMARY: The Procurement Officer is responsible for the purchase of goods and services for the company. He/she will help approve the best products or services while ensuring that corporate. governmental and ethical policies are adhered to.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•   Analyze the purchase request from the user departments and determine the appropriate method of procurement.

•   Coordinate the preparation of the procurement documents.

•   Developing and maintaining a preferred database.

•   Developing and maintaining a reporting system for contractors.

•   Facilitating expenditure reviews to identify opportunities {add valve through improved procurement.

•   Establishing and maintaining a contact register.

REQUIRED KNQWLEDGEI SKILLS/EDUCATION:

•   Bachelor's degree in Economics. Business Administration, Marketing. Mathematics. Statistics or any field of Engineering.

•   Ability to pay attention to details.

•   High level of individual initiative, planning and good judgement.

•   Strong decision making skills

•   Concentration, accuracy and ability to pay attention to details required.

•   Excellent organization skills.

•   Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•   Minimum of two (2) years posts graduation experience.
