2011/2012 University of Johannesburg’s Postdoctoral Research Fellowships in Geography

A postdoctoral research fellowship is available in the Department of Geography and
Environmental Management, University of Johannesburg

Scope of Research:
This project will involve, amongst other topics, quality of life and housing satisfaction in informal settlements and low cost housing in Johannesburg and South Africa. The fellowship is for one year.

Requirement:
•   PhD (must have graduated within the last five years).
•   The PhD must be within the field of Human Geography, specifically Urban Geography.
•   Relevant expertise in other fields of Geography will also be to your advantage.

Commencement of duties: As soon as possible after the 1 January 2012
