Ogun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has faulted former Governor Gbenga Daniel on his claim of being loyal to President Goodluck Jonathan.
.
The party spoke against the backdrop of a statement credited to Daniel that he was "irrevocably committed to the Goodluck Jonathan project and will support his aspirations wherever and whenever.
.
In a statement by the State Publicity Secretary, Mr. Waliu Oladipupo, the party said "by his comments Daniel seems to be giving another meaning to the saying 'if you love me, love my dog.' For, if he is truly committed to Mr. President, he would associate with him warts and all."
.
The party wondered why Daniel was pledging his loyalty instead of reaffirming his defection to the Labour Party, LP, saying if he could leave the PDP after the party made him politically, "he has already betrayed Mr. President and the entire party".

No one cares about loyalty now all we want from our leaders is total commitment when it comes to matters of this country. There must be development!
