Position Summary:

•   RightClick is searching for a Test Automation Lead to assist within their Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE).

•   He/She will be responsible for developing automation framework, and mentor junior testers on how to write test plans and test cases and execution of those plans.

•   The successful candidates will assist with resolving important test automation issues.

Responsibilities:

•   He/She will be involved in all phases of testing- test planning, execution, troubleshooting, and reporting.

•   Write Automated test cases and test plans for IT-based projects

•   Design automation framework for our suite of applications and other 3rd party applications

•   Investigate potential defects and discuss them with developers

•   Log defects during the test execution phase

•   Report test results to the project manager

•   Organize and facilitate reviews, inspections, and walkthroughs of automated and manual test plans and other Product Lifecycle Framework (PLF) related documentation.

•   Develop test coverage matrices to maximize testing efficiency. Use optimization techniques to minimize the number of test cases and time effort while maximizing test coverage.

•   Act as a technical expert in all areas of automation system and regression testing of all projects.

•   Isolate root cause of defects and drive the resolution of important defects.

•   Participate in business requirements review sessions with the peers and business users

Mandatory Skills:

•   5+ years in software application testing

•   3+ years in Software Test Automation using various Open Source Tools like Selenium IDE, AutoTestFlash, JUnit and SWAT.

•   Linux, Windows, MOSS and Project Server 2010.

•   Scripting Languages – Perl, C, Python, Java Script etc

•   Background/understanding of software development life cycle

•   Demonstrated experience Windows Commands including: Registry Entries

•   Finding IP Address, Host Files, DNS etc.

•   CSTE or ISTQB Certification
