INSEAD Alcatel-Lucent Endowed Scholarships for MBA Programme

One or two INSEAD Alcatel-Lucent Scholarships will be awarded per class, in perpetuity, to outstanding Chinese participants with an engineering background or experience in telecommunications or high-tech. There is no obligation to work for Alcatel-Lucent after the MBA.

Eligibility:
•   Chinese candidates with the required profile (above) may apply. One or two candidates will be invited to an interview (in person, by video or by telephone) with an Alcatel-Lucent representative in Asia in March (for the July Class) or September (for the December Class).
•   Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate financial need.
•   If feasible, the INSEAD Alcatel-Lucent scholars will participate in a one-day event organised by Alcatel-Lucent for their scholars in France during the MBA Programme.

Essay topic:
1). In no more than 500 words describe (a) why you wish to undertake the INSEAD MBA (b) how you envisage contributing to the future development of Asia after graduation, and (c) why you should be selected for this scholarship.
2). Provide a concise but accurate description of your financial circumstances as well as a cash flow forecast for the year at INSEAD (details of income set against all expenditures). Explain how you expect to finance your studies if you do not obtain this scholarship.

Amount of Award: €20,000

Scholarship Application Deadlines:
11 February for the July class
18 August for the December class
