Job Title: Process Engineer (PER)

Workplace: Office Port Harcourt – Nigeria

Destination: Port Harcourt and Remote Site

Employer: Saipem Contracting Nigeria Limited (SCNL) – part of SAIPEM S.PA

Description of position:   

•   Provide Lead Engineer with computations, simulations, preparation of data sheets and process deliverables necessary to develop the technical proposal

•   Check quality and suitability of calculations, software simulations and deliverables prepared by the team

•   Develop Heat & Material Balances using simulation software

•   Develop Process Flow diagrams to show unit operations necessary to convert feedbacks into on-specification products, in the most economical manner

•   Define and sizes Equipment and Instrumentation to be implemented and issues relevant Process Data sheets

•   Performs hydraulic and thermal calculations on piping systems, in steady state and transient operation

•   Define quantities and characteristics of effluents to be disposed to the environment Ensures the preparation of Operating Manual and Test Run procedures

•   Check technical quality of calculations, software simulations and deliverables produced by junior engineers

•   Take part in the multidisciplinary project reviews such as P&IDs,
