Job Profile: – Reporting to the State Programme Manager, the successful candidate will provide strategic and operational support to theEnhancing Nigeria's Response to HIV/AIDS (ENR) strategy at the state level.  – S/He will also provide strategic technical assistance to the State Agency Committee on AIDS (SACA) and wider State Response on theories, strategies and approaches to work with Most at Risk Population, young people and general population on HIV Prevention including behaviour change communication and mass media activities.  – S/He will support the implementation of ENR HIV prevention wok in the state, provide support to media station, CSOs grantees and other state actor in implementing various approaches outlined in ENR prevention strategies.  – S/He will support the State Programme Manager in monitoring and supervising the field activities of trained IPC conductors across Local Government Areas (LGAs) and focal communities.

Qualifications/Experience:

Minimum Academic/Professional Qualifications required for the position:

• Must possess a minimum of a University Degree in Social/Biological Sciences or Humanities with at least three (3) years post NYSC cognate experience.

• Must have proven experience in planning and facilitation of training for different cadres of staff and conversant with proven theories of behaviour change for HIV prevention.

• Must be familiar with MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and other relevant packages.

• Knowledge and skills in gender main-streaming especially in HIV prevention will be of an added advantage.
