Job Title: Quality and Compliance Manager – Exams, Nigeria

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

The Nigeria examinations services is a booming examniations business in the British Council. This role is primarily concerned with ensuring that professional quality standards for both examination delivery and customer service are maintained.

The Nigeria examinations services business has seen rapid growth over the past six years and has become one of the top ten largest British Council examination businesses. With offices in Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja and Kano and 22 examination services staff, Nigeria is the biggest examination business in sub-Saharan Africa and has the potential to develop significantly further.

This role is primarily concerned with examination quality standards and customer service. Anticipated growth needs to be underpinned with robust control, security and customer service systems. Therefore, using good analytical skills, the you will monitor, evaluate and design systems/processes that support the secure and efficient examination delivery. Astute interpersonal skills are required to build common purpose within the exams team and to support colleagues in understanding and implementing processes and standards.

Salary and Benefits Package

Salary £25,000pa (minimum)

Cola unaccompanied £3,980pa (indicative figure only)

Location allowance £6,200pa

Mobility allowance £5,000pa

Transfer fee of £1,500

Fare paid leave to London, UK, once per year.

National tax and NI will be deducted at source.

We provide a furnished 2 or 3 bedroom apartment (utilities paid) within walking distance of the British Council offices.

This two-year fixed-term contract starts ASAP.
