Ex-International confident Nigeria will qualify Former Super Eagles defender, Sunday Eboigbe, has declared that Malawi could bite just as their coach Tom Saintfiet has been boasting but quickly added that such boasts can only bring out the best in Stephen Keshi boys' fighting spirit.

"Malawi also wants to be at the World Cup and would spare nothing in a bid to achieve that. That's why I believe their boasts could be real and should be taken seriously," Eboigbe said.

The Super Eagles are scheduled to come up against the Flames of Malawi on Saturday at UJ Esuene Stadium, Calabar, for the last group F qualifying match of the 2014 FIFA World Cup finals in Brazil.

Winner in the September 7 clash will progress to the final round of qualifiers which will be decided on knock-out basis.

"I see Malawi's threat as real because every player, coach or team who wants to play in the World Cup must be an ambitious side and I think Malawi is one."
