Senior Reservoir Engineer – Upstream O&G – Nigeria I am recruiting for a Senior Reservoir Engineer with proven experience of reservoir and production engineering in the upstream O&G industry. Due to increasing work, my client is looking to grow their subsurace teams across Nigeria. One of the key hires they need to make is a Senior Reservoir Engineer.

As a Senior Reservoir Engineer, you will be responsible for managing all reservoir based analysis and project planning on all projects and joint ventures.

This is a broad, hands on role with a lot of accountability so you must be comfortable to take on this level of role.

Requirements:

• Degree educated in Petroleum Engineering, Mathematics or Physics-oriented subject
• MSc or PhD in Petroleum Engineering or Reservoir Engineering is desirable
• 15+ years hands on experience in reservoir engineering in the upstream O&G industry
• field development planning
• reservoir simulation models
• reservoir surveillance plans
• production performance monitoring and optimisation
• current and up to date industry software capability
• proven experience in West Africa, preferably in Nigeria
• ability to manage a multi-disciplinary team and mentor junior engineers
• excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
• strong negotiation and influencing skills
• good problem solver
