Senior Production Technologist – Upstream Oil & Gas – Nigeria I am recruiting for a talented Senior Production Technologist to join an asset team for a growing E&P company based in Nigeria. They have various sites across the country and due to increasing work, they are now in need of a Production Technologist with at least 10 years practical experience. You will actively monitor and evaluate well performance data and take the lead in production problem diagnosis, well performance monitoring and optimisation of well output. As you will be coming in at a senior engineer level, you will have excellent understanding of well construction and completion issues and techniques. Other responsibilities include participating in the design and programming of well completions, have a good understanding in the area of sand control and horizontal completion techniques in an unconsolidated environment. You will also provide production technology input to field development plans.

Requirements:

•    Degree educated in Physics, Chemical, Petroleum or Mining Engineering

•    Hands on experience in practical production technology or an operating company or a specialist service company

•    PVT analysis

•    Production problem diagnosis and problem solving

•    Ability to interface with other members of the Asset team

•    Capex and Opex disciplines regarding budgets and targets

•    Simulation software capability

•    Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)
