Asset Manager – Upstream Oil & Gas – Nigeria A new vacancy has arisen for an Asset Manager to be responsible for my client’s Exploration & Production interests in a number of assets and ventures. As an Asset Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of integrated national and ex-pat professionals and coordinate the requirements of multiple disciplines such as engineering, field operations, finance, audit, legal counsel.

Requirements:

•    Degree educated in a strongly mathematical or physics oriented subject

•    MSc or PhD in Petroleum Engineering is desirable.

•    Fluency in written and spoken use of the English. Knowledge of other languages would be an advantage.

•    Ability to integrate activities across geoscience, petroleum engineering, surface engineering and commercial disciplines.

•    Minimum 15 years experience in Asset Management

•    Proven practical experience in field production, operations, production technology, work-over, stimulation in the upstream Oil & Gas sector

•    Very good understanding of HSE procedures

•    Experience of working in West Africa, preferably Nigeria

•    Well & Asset development report writing and presentation skills

•    Strong negotiation and leadership skills

•    Experience of project management and budget planning

•    People Management skills
