Our client, a major Oil and Gas Operator have an opportunity for a Hook Up Manager to work on a FPSO project, on a long term contract based offshore Nigeria.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

a) Description of the SERVICE: The SERVICE consists:

• To ensure hook-up works of OFQ are ell identified and prepared by Contractor before mobilization

• To ensure hook-up works are safely and efficiently carried out by Contractor at site

• To report to his Management any deviation to Offshore planned activities

b) Specific Activities:

• To review and comment the list of offshore hook-up activities prepared by Contractor for all disciplines (structure, piping , E&I, Telecom, HVAC)

• To review and comment the planning of activities prepared by Contractor with the objective of optimization of manpower on site

• To ensure safety procedures such as Permit To Work are understood and implemented by Contractor

• To review and challenge working procedures and JSAs issued by Contractor

• To ensure the sequence of works is in line with the start-up milestones (first oil, first gas)

• To assess the problems faced by Contractor and obtain from him a remedial actions plan as necessary

• To coordinate the Commissioning team to ensure smooth handover at RFC stage. This includes completion of RFC dossier and punch Lists clearance

• To closely mange his supervision team and ensure they focus on critical activities

• To provide a clear reporting to his management based onshore

• To take care of all logistics constraints to ensure the works are performed smoothly and that delivery of equipment, materials and tools do not impact the progress of work

• To meet with Contractor on daily basis

• To ensure the accommodation and working barge sourced by Contractor is suitable for the planned activities

• To closely manage with Contractor and barge Supplier the accommodation plan and all aspects related to the operation, safety and security of the barge on a daily basis

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Management experience in Hook Up on FPSO projects
