Job Title: Brand and Product Manager

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Job Summary: To derive brand growth in volume and equity by leveraging understanding of customer attitudes, motivation and trends and as well develop a seamless execution of brand plans, both short and long term.

Responsibilities:

•   Achieve agreed brand health and profitability targets

•   Develop strong communication programs for brand working with local agency and regional team

•   Ensure development of efficient BTL work in line with activity goals

•   Consumer, market and category analysis. competitive /market reviews with recommended actions

•   Evaluate and drive innovation opportunities

•   Excellence in execution: ensure a world class execution of all brand activities on time, on budget, on strategy and on target throughout the organization, to consistently achieve the desired strategy impact.

•   Provide leadership: focus externally, drive to win, foster collaboration.

•   Production of marketing and point of sales material

•   Measurement and evaluation for key promotional projects

•   Innovation: harness consumer, shopper and customer insights to create and implement value creating brand and product ideas, concepts, designs packaging, line extension.

•   Budget management: preparation of brand budget and management of finances related to marketing campaigns and promotions.

•   Brand strategy: create a clear strategy for sustainable and profitable growth of the brand which provides a clear consistent and effective direction to yearly brand plans to reach equity and profitability

Qualifications and Requirements:

•   A minimum of OND/HND in marketing, business administration, economics or any related discipline is an advantage.

•   Market knowledge and cultural sensitivity coupled with a comfort working with different cultures.

•   Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.

•   Strong sense of responsibility, forward-thinking, detailed-minded and sound judgment.

•   Line manager experience and a track record of leading, developing & coaching a team.

•   Ability to produce high quality work under strict and constant deadlines with an eye for detail and accuracy.

•   Good listener, able to respond to results and consumer research.

•   Fresh graduate are also welcome
