Roles and responsibilities:

•   Keep us on the cutting edge of technology as pertains to our key business lines

•   Be the Internal Champion of all technologies: mobile apps, software, etc

•   Design, develop and implement software applications for phones and online

•   Manage all internal and external tech resources

•   Oversee the all phases of the Firm’s technology projects from from conception to completion

•   Track milestones and progress of critical software development projects while ensuring deadlines are being monitored and milestones are reached

•   Follow PMI standards to manage projects through the project lifecycles of initiation, planning, execution and closure

•   External representative of the company regarding technology integration with our partners and training and education of our partners as regards our platform

•   Stand as liaison between the Firm and its potential business partners in all things related to technology

•   Develop requirements, outlines, budgets, and schedulers for information technology projects

•   Ensure project is completed within budget and on time

•   Manage third party technology consultants, programmers, developers, and analysts

•   Manage multiple vendors

•   Utilize in-depth technical knowledge and business requirements to design and implement secure solutions to meet customer / client needs while protecting the corporation’s assets

•   Develop security standards, procedures, and guidelines for multiple platforms

•   Be familiar with hardware and software

•   Be familiar with network operating system

Desired Attributes:

•   Degree in Computer Science or relevant field

•   Must be HIGHLY computer literate.

•   Knowledge of the financial market sector is a huge advantage

•   Knowledge of the stockbrokerage sector is also a huge advantage
