Dayo Adeneye 'D1' World Famous' has contributed in no small way to the transformation of the music industry in Nigeria. Life&beat spent some time with D1 at his Lagos office as he talks about his life and how he met his wife.

This is what he has to say "I am a shy person. I shy away from approaching women. I don't know what to say to women. The people I have dated were always introduced to me by friends or relations.

It happened in the case of my wife. My father introduced her to me. My father used to tell me there were two girls that used to come to the next house and he felt I should check them out. I wondered what was wrong with the old man.

Eventually, my curiosity got the better of me. I saw the beautiful girls and really, I admitted my father had got taste. I asked one of them out and today she is my wife. I am glad my father pushed me to that direction.
