Job Title: Nutrition Program Officer

Location: Abuja, Nigeria

Roles:

•   The Nutrition programme officer will provide technical support on voice and community mobilization to all State programme teams,

•   Develop a community mobilisation strategy in collaboration with the team and ensure implementation,

•   Support the programme team in the implementation of CMAM, IYCF, MNCH and advocacy; data analysis and report writing,

•   Ensure clear links and mutual reinforcement between programmatic approaches, write regular progress reports, including annual impact monitoring reports,

•   Contribute to the development of reports for meetings, workshop, training and programme implementation,

•   Participate in meetings, training and other assessment/events as required by the Nutrition Adviser and National Programme Manager.

Qualifications & Requirements:

•   In order to be successful within this role, the incumbent must have at least a Bachelor degree in Health, Nutrition, or related field,

•   Sound strategic thinking and planning skills, including ability to think creatively and innovate and to set priorities, manageable work plans and evaluate progress,

•   Ability to work in partnership with government and other organizations' staff,

•   Commitment to SCI mission, values and approach (includes child protection, equal opportunities and heaHh and safety),

•   Experience in Nutrition and in community based programmes.
