The Consumer Bank International Graduate Programme is a generalist development programme designed to prepare you for a long-term professional career in financial services and retail banking by providing you with a strong foundation on which to can build your career.

The programme provides you with a platform to create change, to challenge the way things are done, and to define the future of the Bank. Whether it's leading a team, running a budget, developing new products, working at the intersection between technology and psychology or delivering transformational change for our customers, we encourage you to challenge and stretch yourself.

During the programme, you will:

Programme structure

•   The programme is designed to prepare you for a challenging role as a future leader, while enabling you to take sensible risks, and explore the different paths that will enable you to shine.

Over the course of 24 months, you can expect to take part in:

•   The International Induction Programme (IIP), an Academic Programme (AP), and an International Graduation Programme (IGP), which together lay the foundation for your future success

•   12 months' worth of role rotations in different business areas providing a thorough understanding of how our Consumer Bank works and where your strengths are best suited

•   12 months' worth of a Frontline customer-facing rotation that will help you to understand client needs and the different ways in which we can meet them

•   Extensive formal and informal learning opportunities that will equip you with the specialist skills and knowledge you need to excel as a banker and future leader.
