Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Pro-Health International (PHI), a faith-based, non-profit organization executing HIV/AIDS comprehensive treatment, care and support projects in the Federal Capital Territory, Plateau and Nassarawa states requires the services of the qualified individual for the position:

Qualification and Requirement:

•   BSc in Human Resources Management, Business Management or other relevant fields;

•   Membership of relevant professional body(ies);

•   An M.Sc. degree in the humanities will be of added advantage.

•   5-8 years post-NYSC working experience in a reputable organization;

•   A people person and highly committed individual;

•   Excellent verbal, written communication and public speaking skills including the ability to prepare reports, proposals

•   Effective interpersonal, public relations and time management skills;

•   Highly proficient in computer applications including Word processing and spreadsheets, especially MS suite;

•   Willing to work irregular hours.

Responsibilities:

•   Administer the human resources policies, compensation, benefits, performance management systems and safety programs and ensure compliance with regulatory concerns regarding employees;

•   Maintain records and reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals

•   Plan, organize, coordinate personnel training

•   Advise managers on benefits policies and ensure compliance with legal requirements.

•   Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate staff work activities

•   Represent the organization at personnel-related fora as may be directed

•   Plan and conduct new employee orientation and continuously foster positive attitude toward achievement of project objectives.

•   Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering employee matters and helping resolve work-related problems.

•   Carry out general administrative functions, office management and other duties as assigned.
