Kanye West charged with criminal battery, attempted grand theft

Reports have it that the rapper has been charged with criminal battery and attempted grand theft for allegedly attacking a paparazzo at LAX on July 19, 2013.

NET had reported that Yeezy attacked the photographer who dared to speak with him as he left the airport. The photographer was admitted in the hospital. He later hired lawyer Gloria Allred and filed a lawsuit.

Yeezy faces up to a year in jail if convicted of both misdemeanours. He will be appearing in court on October 10.
