PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The SSEM for SAP Mobile Solutions bears primary responsibility for providing Mobile Services sales, revenue growth, Order Entry growth and market leadership to SAP Customers and to the external SAP ecosystem of partners & other stakeholders. He has to closely align his activities and sales approach with the License Sales Colleagues for a joint customer approach. Assuming overall responsibility for directing sales strategy and execution for a defined Region/Country, the SSEM will ensure proper integration of SAP Mobile Services at customers in coordination with the account owners to create customer value and meet and exceed targets for Order Entry and Revenue.

The Mobile SSEM is responsible and accountable for the overall Mobile Services Bookings in the assigned territory (market unit / country / cluster) composed of acquiring new customers, the protection and development of the existing customer base as well as development of the Mobile Services order entry.

In order to achieve his/her mission and targets, the Mobile SSEM must engage and leverage multiple stakeholders in the related SAP landscape (internal and external). This role combines business strategy and execution coordination as well as operational direct sales.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

•   Establish a Mobile Services sales plan aligned with the Market Units that assigns both responsibilities and accountabilities on a functional and operational basis

•   Achieve alignment within the assigned region and account base, regarding the prioritization of goals and strategies developed within the sales plan

•   Build and manage sales funnel for Mobile services

•   Build and sustain rolling 3x average 4 quarter pipeline for solutions segment

•   Alignment with Mobile License Sales

•   Quarter over quarter increase in solution pipeline multiple

•   Establish overall Solution pipeline build strategy – program support (w/ Field Marketing), monitoring, and reporting

•   Support regional industry & solution demand generation programs

•   Drive customer / prospect Events

•   Drive net new opportunities (based on initial plan, whitespace, etc)

•   Change the game ( serve as a competitive differentiator) in strategic deals through solution differentiation and thought leadership

•   Provide executive sponsorship and sales support for key strategic accounts

•   Leverage the SAP ecosystem & C-level relationships to accelerate deals

•   Develop & institutionalize best practices across regions

•   Enable regions with tools & templates

•   Consulting Services Sales Enablement

•   Single point of contact for SAP Consulting

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

•   University degree

•   Value based selling methodologies

•   Comfortable and experienced with senior executive audiences and a very professional and mature customer interfacing profile

•   Energetic and goal-oriented, strong leadership qualities (cross-functional and multi-national teams)

•   Fluency in English and local language (preferably knowledge of one other European language)

•   Strong experience in senior sales with a track record of consistently delivering or over achieving against Services Sales targets ideally working for a multi-national IT Services or Software Company

•   Good knowledge of the Mobile industry domain, applications and market

•   Excellent business and commercial acumen – strong strategic agility

•   Excellent communications skills and highly developed interpersonal skills and strong ability to work collaboratively across the organization

•   Able to quickly understand the business, it’s issue, take ownership and develop and execute a strategy with the team that positively transforms the business and drives operational excellence and increased revenues

WORK EXPERIENCE

•   Minimum of 2 years in selling SAP Solutions and/or SAP Services

•   4 years minimum of customer facing IT business/sales experience and background

•   Strong track record in Mobile or comparable markets consistently delivering or overachieving against business targets

•   Demonstrated business impact in a highly matrixed business environment and stakeholder management

•   Good insight into international markets, Mobile market, SAP customers and partners

•   Track record of successfully selling/liaising at C level with a corporate client network
