Location: Lagos, Nigeria

We are looking for motivated, detail-oriented and dedicated individuals in various subject areas, who are eager to learn all aspects of a children's publishing company and to be part of a small and creative team. The chosen candidates will help out with the editorial, design and sales team. The desired time commitment is twenty hours a week; between 10am to 4pm each week day.

This internship does not offer any monetary compensation. Duration is for 3 months. Duties include but are not limited to the following: – Editorial: proofread manuscripts, page layouts, advances/sample copies. Assist with writing manuscripts; perform library and book store research as needed, and assist management with a variety of clerical and editorial duties. – Design: assist designers with preliminary page set-up, font research, format selection and scanning of illustrators sketches. Assist designers with making of book dummies and mock-up for sates representatives and a variety of clerical and design duties. – Sales: assist with sales reports, fulfilling request for sales materials, preparation of meetings. Creates sales sheets for sales catalogue as wet! as content for website. Assist with social networking(FaceBook, Twitter, linkedln).
