Adexen Recruitment Agency is mandated by a leading provider of oil & gas engineering services to recruit a Project Engineer Electrical & Instrumentation for its operations in Nigeria.

Our client is  is a worldwide leader in providing major mechanical components for land and offshore drilling rigs, complete land drilling and well servicing rigs, tubular inspection and internal tubular coatings, drill string equipment, extensive lifting and handling equipment, and a broad offering of downhole drilling motors, bits and tools.

DESCRIPTION:

•   The Project Engineer shall Direct and coordinate installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities and ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.

•   He/She will report to the project Manager and will be based in Lagos

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The responsibilities for this office shall include but is not limited to the following:

•   Design of E,I &T systems and Calculation of consumptions for equipment and systems

•   Low voltage systems ( 24V DV systems with batteries and solar panels), Control systems and RIO cabinets " Performs and supervises electrical analysis and controls schemes and layouts

•   Calculation of consumptions for equipment and systems

•   Maintenance and servicing of all kind of electrical machines, troubleshooting using electrical blueprint drawing

•   Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing and installation standards and specifications of all machineries used in the project

•   Give input to Inspection, Operation, Maintenance and Repair documentation for the project Give installation and commissioning input to project.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :

•   B.sc electrical engineering from a recognised institution

•   Minimum of 5 years experience in oil & gas industry

•   Knowledge of BV class rules and international rules and regulations (IEC / EMC / Solas / IALA / ICAO)

•   Experience handling instruments such as Transmitters, proxy switches, detector and berthing aids " COREN Certified

•   Fluency in English is compulsory

•   Excellent Presentation & Communication Skills

•   Should be Self-motivated
