NFF Scribe Warns Eagles Ahead Sundays Game

General Secretary of Nigeria Football, Musa Amadu has urged the Super Eagles not to be complacent when they clash with their Ethiopian counterpart in the first leg final qualifier of the Brazil 2014 World Cup.

According to Musa Amadu the Super Eagles have what it takes to beat the Ethiopians at home and away if they don't get carried away by their recent successes, noting that the Ethiopians are no push over.

"A team that accounted for the exit of 2010 World Cup host South Africa can not be handled with a kid glove.
.
Ethiopia are a threat and the Eagles should take them serious by playing as if their lives depend on that match.

"I have no doubt that the Eagles have the wherewithal to get a very good result in Addis Ababa but they should be ready to fight from the beginning to the end of that match. We cannot afford to underrate them" Amadu said.

Also speaking on the match in Ethiopia, the President of the football house, Alhaji Aminu Maigari stated that he has absolute confidence in the ability of Coach Stephen Keshi to steer the Eagles to the World Cup in Brazil.

He said the NFF are solidly behind the team and would do everything within the rules to ensure that they qualify for the World Cup in Brazil.

Alhaji Maigari also thanked President Goodluck Jonathan for backing the Super Eagles quest to qualify for the World Cup in Brazil adding that the players would reciprocate the President Jonthan's good gesture by beating the Ethiopians in Addis Ababa.
