1.     PURPOSE AND DURATION OF THE SERVICE

1.1 CONTRACTOR undertakes to carry out the SERVICE as herein after described:

a) Description of the SERVICE:

The SERVICE consists: As Company Representative, he supervises the execution of the Engineering for all structural matters.

b) Specific Activities:

•   To follow-up Engineer's activities related to structures studies and ensure compliance with Company/Project specifications and with the requirements of the project documentation.

•   To manage technical evaluation of the bids and prepare technical recommendation with the COMPANY.

•   To follow-up (if any) procurement, construction, expediting for his discipline

•   To anticipate problems, offer solutions and inform the COMPANY.

•   To keep COMPANY Head Quarter informed of main decision and/or orientation.

•   To report to CONPANY on progress of his activities and any changes thereto

•   To comment on Engineer's documents and coordinate other COMPANY specialists comments within allowed time.

•   To liaise with other disciplines in order to ensure consistency of the work.

•   To comment on contractor documents in due time.

•   To review proposed deviations and give recommendation for project management approval

•   To organize weekly and/or monthly co-ordination meetings with Engineering CONTRACTOR as appropriate.

•   To ensure Engineering CONTRACTOR provides proper reporting of the progress of his activities.

1.2 The SERVICE shall be performed in NIGERIA, IN LAGOS AREA, in COMPANY offices and/or EPC contractor's offices and/or Construction yards as applicable. Missions may be required by COMPANY outside the normal working area to other locations worldwide.

1.3 All DESIGNEES shall have obtained and hold valid during the duration of the SERVICES to be performed: – All certificates regarding physical fitness, medical cover and training course as specified in the General Conditions and Annex 4 hereto. – All administrative authorisation and documents necessary to perform the activities at the places where the SERVICE shall be carried out.

1.4 The execution of the SERVICE requires experienced specialists fluent in English
