Job Title: Engineer (Graduate Trainee)

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Employer: Nelloyd Ltd.

Duties:

•   Assist engineering and other personnel to solve operating problems.

•   Confer with scientific, engineering, and technical personnel to resolve design, research, and testing problems.

•   Direct and monitor the completion and evaluation of wells, well testing, or well surveys.

•   Monitor production rates, and plan rework processes to improve production.

•   Analyze data to recommend placement of wells and supplementary processes to enhance production.

•   Interpret drilling and testing information for personnel.

•   Develop plans for oil and gas field drilling, and for product recovery and treatment.

•   Write technical reports for engineering and management personnel.

Requirements:

•   Candidates must be experienced in rig drilling and digging and must be versed in well design and building, accurate casing depths, hydraluics calculations and general well maintenance.

•   candidates must be able to determine AFE well cost and other related problems.

•   Candidates must also be able have a knowledge of building technology.

•   Candidates must also possess a first degree with a second degree in view.

•   PC fluency and good communication skills is an added advantage.
