Doctors to motivate plus size women

Didai Entertainment has concluded all the necessary arrangements to hold Miss Mega City Lagos, a pageant for plus size women, in January next year.

Speaking with Entervaganza, DE's Sarah Owoyemi, said MMCL is open to all plus size ladies living in Lagos irrespective of their tribe or religious leaning.

"Even if you are married, but you are between 16 and 27 years, you are free to participate provided you are plus size ladies."

According to her, MMCL came up because "plus size ladies do not have confidence in their look.

They feel that they are too big and lack confidence thereby.

They feel the slim people are the beautiful people when African beauty is actually about being plus size ladies."

Adding that doctors will also be at the event to talk to the plus size ladies about their bodies, she said, "Doctors are also going to talk to the contestants about their bodies.

Plus size ladies tend to have bigger breasts that make it difficult for them to personally check them. So MMCL will also educate them on how to check their breasts and other things they must know about their bodies."
