Anambra 2013: CKC alumni seek support for Obiano

Members of Onitsha indigenous old boys association of the famous Christ the Kings College (CKC), Onitsha are now seeking massive support for Chief Willie Obiano, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the November 16 Anambra governorship election.

In a communique issued at the end of their meeting, the old boys said Obiano who is a fellow old boy of the CKC, was suitable to succeed the 'hardworking' outgoing Governor Peter Obi who is also an old boy of the school, for the exalted office and as such should be given adequate support to enable him clinch victory at the polls.

In the communique jointly signed by about 20 members of the old boys, they said since both Obi and Obiano are graduates of the prestigious CKC, they had no other option than to show their unflinching support to Obi all these years for his focus, initiatives and programmes in the state.

"We are profoundly happy that you, Obiano, is offering yourself to serve as the chief servant of Anambra State.

We assure you of our unimpeachable support, unalloyed cooperation, indomitable spirit and unceasing prayers". "You are the next governor of Anambra State, come November 16, 2013 and we shall work in diverse legal and constitutional ways to ensure victory. At your swearing-in, in March, 2014, we shall gather prestigiously to celebrate your eminence", they predicted.
