Man United, Chelsea Join Race For Fifa U-17 MVP

Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport has reported that Manchester United,Chelsea and Arsenal have all made enquiries over the signature of Golden Eaglets stra, Kelechi Iheanacho who was voted the Most Valuable Player of the FIFA U-17 World Cup which ended last Friday in the United Arab Emirates.

Iheanacho,who turned seventeen a little over a month ago made seven appearances for the Eaglets at the tournament,scoring six goals and seven assists.

Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United have already made contact for the Nigerian.

"Wenger did not follow Iheanacho to the United Arab Emirates but his collaborator Steve Rowley, chief talent scout is ready to invest in this midfielder, in full respect of a philosophy that has always seen the London club focus on young people of value," wrote the newspaper.

Iheanacho can play as either an attacking midfielder in a similar role to Mesut Ozil, or as a support striker.
