Cross River State - LG Service Member Charges Akpabuyo Workers to be Duteous

The Commissioner III in Local Government Service Commission, Hon Mike Ogar has called on the staff of Akpabuyo Local Government Council to be dedicated to work schedule to facilitate a robust and result-oriented service for socio–economic development of the Local Government Area and Cross River State at large.

The Commissioner gave the advice while on a one day visit to the Local Government Council. The Commissioner who came in during a meeting of staff with the Head of Local Government Administration (HOLGA) commended the staff for their dedication to duty and encouraged them to keep up the spirit.

Speaking, the HOLGA, Mrs. Rose Enerji thanked the Commissioner for the visit and emphasized that civil service is the engine room through which Government programmes are carried out and that Government remains committed to building capacity of its work force.
