We are currently seeking a Senior Subsea Engineer based in Nigeria – whose role it will be to be the technical point of contact for the project team and offshore crew – whilst providing efficient and cost effective project technical support.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Management of project tooling

• Assist with review, planning and implementation of operational technical requirements

• Ensure appropriate user documentation, certification, spares, and consumables are available at the Worksite to support planned/on-going ROV operations.

• Ensure that equipment spreads are, and remain, compliant with legislative and company standards applicable within the territory of operation.

• Ensure that ROV crews are aware of the roles and responsibilities associated with their respective positions and are carrying these out in line with Fleet & Equipment standards.

• Ensure that high focus is maintained on the maximisation of project equipment uptime.

• Assist with Sourcing of company owned and third party ancilliary equipment

• Oversee project mobilisations and demobilisations

• Managing project spares and repairs

• Managing local suppliers

• Assisting with project engineering

• Interface with client operations team

• Assistance with local logistics

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

• Formal training in an engineering discipline to at least HNC level is preferred although consideration will also be given to those with extensive experience in West Africa and ROV construction operations offshore.

• Relevant West Africa regional experience, Nigeria preferred

• A minimum of 10 years ROV construction related offshore experience

• An understanding of data integrity and management of change

• High levels of computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft packages

• Strong communication skills

• Demonstrable attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work as part of a team with minimum supervision
