Role Summary/Purpose: The Lead Mechanical & Fluid System Engineer is involved in the development of Gas Turbines Auxiliary Systems requisition projects as well as in the product improvement.

Essential Responsibilities:

He/she will:

•   Be responsible for defined work or projects with moderate complexity;

•   Follow an individual work plan and meet day-to-day short-term objectives;

•   Have the ability to resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning;

•   Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers;

•   Document and communicate results of technical data generated;

•   Participate on teams assigned to address specific organizational initiatives;

•   Share information and promote open dialogue;

•   Prepare invention disclosures to protect the technology that provides a competitive advantage to the business;

•   Be in charge of package and plant design: base-plate structure, piping system, auxiliaries equipment selection and systems specification.

•   Qualifications/Requirements: Master of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science;

•   At least 5 additional years of experience in an Engineering position;

•   Ability to understand and implement basic design and lay-outs for overall assemblies and applying drawing standards according to customer requirements;

•   Ability to organize and lead activities of drafters/designers team;

•   Strong focus on quality;

•   Fluency in English;

•   EU Work Permit.

•   Ability to work in a global environment.
