Job Title: Commissioning Instrument Supervisor

Job Purpose & Duties:

To be seconded into the Client/Operator Company for the duration of the work, the Commissioning Engineer will:

• Prepare, specify, witness pre-commissioning activities and commissioning activities;

• Review and comment commissioning engineering and vendor’s documentation for his/her discipline;

• Prepare the detailed commissioning sequence;

• Update pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures, establish principles (witnessing, hand-over, certificates, punch-lists) for the facility’s Electrical equipment areas;

• Prepare detailed procedures for each system;

• Update major equipment Operational Test Procedures with acceptance criteria definition and preparation of other procedures which may be required to complete the work;

• Preparation of detailed list of test equipment with MTO of temporary bulk materials, special equipment, instrumentation, temporary power, spare parts and the like needed for pre-commissioning tests and measuring devices;

• Obtaining the necessary updated subcontractors’, vendors’ and suppliers’ documentation;

• Witness pre-commissioning activities for his/her discipline;

• Identify spares, consumables, tools required for the pre-commissioning and commissioning activities;

• Raise discipline punch items and manage the clearance;

• Assist the Start-up Team as necessary.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

•   Professional experience: at least 10 years of experience in his/her discipline’s commissioning activities;

•   Demonstrable experience in pre-commissioning and commissioning of an offshore Oil facility;

•   Previous experience with Opercom/ICAPS highly regarded;

•   Fluency in English essential.  

Rotation: 6 weeks on 2 weeks off

Contract duration: approx. 6 months with possibility of continuing into HUC activities.

Location: Nigeria

Starting Date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months poss more

Work Cycle: 6 weeks/2 weeks
