Manchester United are monitoring as many as four midfielders, reports the Manchester Evening News.
.
With the Red Devils struggling in the Premier League, it has now been suggested that David Moyes is considering the likes of Marco Reus, Koke and Ander Herrera, with his former Everton player Ross Barkley a long term target.
.
The Red Devils will be desperate to do business in this current transfer market after falling to their sixth league defeat of the season against Tottenham on New Year's Day.
.
And with the likes of Michael Carrick and Marouane Fellaini struggling with injury this season, Manchester United are in desperate need of a new midfielder.
.
Manchester United were heavily linked with a move for Athletic Bilbao star Herrera this past summer and the United boss may well swoop for the Spanish star once again.
.
Meanwhile Reus and Koke have also been starring on the European stage with Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid respectively and would both be welcome additions at the Theatre of Dreams.
.
Finally Ross Barkley has been in sensational form for Everton this season, however it remains to be seen as to whether the English youngster would be tempted with a move to Manchester United.

I think Athletico Madrid's Koke is a sure bet for United this January. The rest will most likely not come but we all know United will still make Top Four right?
