Job Title: Store Officer

Location: Port Harcourt, Nigeria

Employer: Inspection Service Company

Responsibilities:

•   Receiving of materials supplied by vendors into store by raising appropriate Goods received Notes

•   Issuing of materials to users department with approved store issues vouchers

•   Administration of stores, handling of tools, equipments, instruments and stock.

•   Preparing and maintaining accurate records of all materials stocked in the stores.

•   Preparing of stock reports for stock replenishment and requisition.

•   Assigning of stock labels and reference numbers to new items being stocked

•   Assist in the inspection of materials, its specifications, conditions, quality and quantity being delivered.

•   Engage in stock taking exercise at interval to discover obsolete, damage and good stock and to advice management for corrective actions to be taken.

•   Posting of all Goods Received Notes and Store Issue Voucher into the software

•   Petty cash reimbursement and payments to staff and posting of vouchers into the software

•   Receiving of cash sales and cheques for credit sales and lodgement into banks

•   Preparing any other report that may be needed from time to time.

•   Prepares daily summary of cash /cheques collected, lodgement details and distributing same accordingly

•   Monitoring stock levels to ensure there is no stock out.

Requirements:

•   OND in Accountancy/Business Administration or its equivalent

•   Must have worked in such capacity for at least 2 years

•   Sound Communication Skills, Verbal and written

•   Sound knowledge of Numerical and quantitative analysis

•   Good Planning

•   Must be Computer literate

•   Ability to effectively manage available time

•   Evaluation and reporting skill

•   Membership of relevant Professional body will be an added advantage
