Job Title: Network Design / Architecture Manager

Job Description:

1.   Leading role in preparation of high level and detailed network design and expansion plans for MPLS, WAN, LAN , Fibre , Routed links, E1 links, etc and other topologies across the SwiftTalk network domain.

2.   Developing and maintaining the future architecture roadmap for the network based on service development and demand to support existing and evolving service mix to SwiftTalk customers.

3.   Developing plans to grow the network to meet evolving service requirements, working closely with Sales to understand sales/services trends

4.   Support strategic analysis and forward view of technology evolution and its impact on SwiftTalk network.

5.   The candidate shall validate and engineer / re-engineer solutions designed by network support and other technical support needs, ensuring adherence to standardization of any refinement and enhancements deployed on SwiftTalk network infrastructure and ensure the network capability meets engineering, product and operational requirements.

6.   will lead the enhancement and consolidation of network infrastructure driving improvement in performance, scalability, reliability, cost reduction while supporting present as well as future services.

Desired Skills and Experience:

1.   At least 6 years telecoms Industry

2.   HND/ BSC in Computer Engineering / Elect / Electronics Engineering and Science related field.

3.   Experience in VSAT & Radio installation with a good idea of routing hands on Operation in Cisco, Mikrotic / ubiquity radios and routers.

4.   High Level of skill and understanding of networks and routing protocols like MPLS, OSPF, BGP etc

5.   Ability to work with little or no supervision.

6.   Good knowledge of network design tools
