Role Summary/Purpose:

•   Reporting to the Service Shop Supervisors, this position is part of the Rental Fleet & Equipment team, a key part of the role is to Lead and Supervise the Rental Shop Team, point of contact for Rental Tools Maintenance queries on rental maintenance process improvements to ensure best practice and rollout of these globally policies.

•   Ensure accurate maintenance, assemble and testing of Running Tools to a high standard adhering to all shop work pack procedures, Shop priorities, QHSE polices.

Essential Responsibilities:

•   The Cell Leader 6 is responsible for defined work. In this role you will follow an individual work plan, meet day-to-day short-term objectives and have the ability to resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.

•   Coordinate and provide leadership to assigned Cells / Teams in the attainment of goals with respect to safety, quality, cost, production and compliance

•   Responsible for effectively assigning work to employees based on their skill level

•   Identify and source needed parts and daily support of repairs.

•   Ensure safe working environment consistent with EHS policies

•   Develop and implement growth plans for the cell addressing volume and productivity

•   Implement quality initiatives within the Service Center

•   Provide on going support in scheduling resources, technical leadership and facilitating the flow of hardware to meet customer requirements

•   Support process improvement initiatives to reduce cycle time, improve inventory turns and reduce manufacturing losses

•   Practice sound human relations and communications skills in order to motivate the assigned work force

•   Responsible for the maintenance, assembly and testing of Subsea Rental tooling as specified in shop work packs.

•   Responsible for accurate sign off of shop work packs for full quality control of work carried out.

•   Responsible for producing quality goods on time as stipulated in shop work pack

•   Responsible for ensuring that area of work is maintained hazard free and tidy

Qualifications/Requirements:

•   Preferably HND educated within a Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering discipline

•   Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems

•   5 year plus experience in Subsea maintenance environment.

•   Self-disciplined, cooperative manner with the capacity to work to written procedures

•   High level of HSE awareness with certification in slinging and lifting, pressure testing, manual handling.

•   Ability to work well on their own as well as part of a team

•   Six Sigma training is preferred

•   Notify supervisor of any risks immediately.

•   Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and priorities
