The Job:

•   Calculate the import duties for all the cargo in each shipment and forward to the clearing supervisor to ensure that it's been calculated correctly

•   Make all payments required to all the relevant regulatory bodies and government agencies in accordance with the Customs and Exiles management Act

•   Submit the document for approval at custom commands and process follow up documentation through to delivery once all import duties and premium has been paid

•   Ensure that all documents and licenses required for the unit to operate and do its job effectively are always current and valid and to keep abreast of all import/export information.

•   Ensure proper records are kept for all import and export documentations

•   Engage in Custom examination of import and export cargo

The person:

•   Good verbal and written communication skills

•   Pays Attention to detail

•   Able to ride a motorbike

•   Good Computer skills

•   Interpersonal skills and customer-service orientation

Qualification: 5 O-Level Credits

Experience: Minimum of 2 years clearing experience
