Job Title: Project Engineer – Water Pipelines and Flowlines

Description:

Principal Accountabilities:

•   The candidate will be responsible for Engineering, Planning and execution of GRE/RTP pipeline/Flowline projects in Company Operation. Being a new technology in the company, the incumbent will also be responsible for the monitoring and maintenance of the pipelines

•   Maintain/update the GRE/RTP Pipeline data base.

•   Manage the GRE/RTP pipe budget and schedule in accordance with Company's Contractual Requirements

•   Maintain a comprehensive risk and opportunity register through pipeline lifecycle

•   Implementation of initiatives to improve cost effectiveness and efficiency of water pipeline project.

•   Maintain the design integrity and quality through the life of the Pipeline.

•   Supervise the work to be undertaken by the Water Pipeline Consultants and Contractors.

•   Act as the Deputy to the Senior Project Engineer

Main Activities: The position is based in Lagos at the planning stage but will relocate to the field on commencement of site activities

Essential Qualification:

•   Degree qualified in Engineering with significant experience (minimum 10 years) in Oil & Gas Pipelines;

•   Experience in development of projects within $5m;

•   Experience in Oil & Gas field production including drilling and well activities.

•   Knowledge of Oil Field contracts and Contracting strategies;

•   must have registered with COREN or registrable with COREN.

Competencies:  – Evaluation and Selection of engineering Pipeline concepts based on Economics and HSSE  – Implement detailed Plans in construct, install, commission and abandon Pipelines, equipment and systems.  – Identification and management of HSE and business Risks  – Knowledge of full range of engineering Pipeline standards and procedures.  – Knowledge on the use of Pipesim simulation software.
