Role Summary/Purpose:
  • The candidate will be responsible for leading and strategically growing our full scope of Measurement & Control Solutions products and Services in West Africa Region
  • The Sales Manager is responsible for the effective and profitable management of assigned customer accounts. In this role he/she will be primarily focused on growing and maintaining existing accounts. He/she will also work with current customers to provide value and meet service needs.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Self starter, responsible for driving orders and sales through new and existing clients
  • Develop and execute territory and specific account sales plans
  • Accountability to deliver on commitments and communicate progress, needs, and strategies to win in a competitive landscape, meet/exceed sales target
  • Be knowledgeable of competitive and market environment.
  • Customer centric mind set focused on building and improving customer relationships and utilizing value selling of our technologies to make a difference
  • Create and drive process changes to develop winning strategies and order closure.
  • Cultivate long term relationships at all levels of customer organization.
  • Responsible for managing and developing channel partners within assigned geography

  • Minimum of a B.Sc. degree in preferably a technical engineering qualification/degree
  • Proven technical and commercial sales experience as an individual contributor.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills that enable working relationships externally (customers) and internally and a strong team player
  • Able to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment
  • Fluent in English
  • A proven background in the oil & gas industry (OEM,manufacturing and process industry with End Users, Engineering Firms and Manufacturers) of around 5 years, with a minimum of 3 years in preferably within a similar sales role
  • Must have local market knowledge and understanding
